CRPF Medical Officer and Other Recruitment 2019 notification Directorate General, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 661 posts of Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant), Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant) and Dental Surgeon (Assistant Commandant) for vacancies in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz.- BSF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Assam Rifles . DIRECTORATE GENERAL, CENTRAL RESERVE POLICE FORCE (CRPF) IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 661 POSTS OF SPECIALIST MEDICAL OFFICERS (DEPUTY COMMANDANT), MEDICAL OFFICERS (ASSISTANT COMMANDANT) AND DENTAL SURGEON(ASSISTANT COMMANDANT) . LAST DATE — 09/07/2019 (24/07/2019 FOR FAR FLUNG AREAS)

SPECIALIST MEDICAL OFFICERS (DEPUTY COMMANDANT)
No. of Vacancies: 232 Nos.

Cental Armed Police Force wise vacancies:

i) BSF: 61 posts (UR-31, SC-10, ST-04, OBC-16)
ii) CRPF: 138 posts (UR-69, SC-21, ST-10, OBC-38)
iii) SSB: 19 posts (UR-19)
iv) ITBP: 08 posts (UR-02, SC-01, ST-01, OBC-04)
v) Assam Rifles: 06 posts (UR-03, SC-01, OBC-02)

Educational Qualification: i) A recognized medical qualification of allopathic system of medicines included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub Section (3) of Section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The applicant must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/MCI before appointment in any of the CAPFs.

ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship.

iii) Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned speciality mentioned in Section -A or in Section -B in Schedule-I or equivalent and one and a half years experience in the concerned speciality after obtaining PG Degree or two and half years experience after obtaining PG Diploma.
Age Limit: Maximum-40 years as on last date of receipt of application.
Pay Scale: Rs. 67,700 – Rs.2,08,700

 

2. MEDICAL OFFICERS (ASSISTANT COMMANDANT)
No. of Vacancies: 428 Nos.
Discipline/ Cental Armed Police Force wise vacancies:

i) Medicine: 38 posts (BSF-10, CRPF-21, SSB-03, ITBP-03, Assam Rifles- 01)
ii) Surgery: 36 posts (BSF-10, CRPF-21, SSB-03, ITBP-01, Assam Rifles- 01)
iii) Gynae & Obs: 28posts (BSF-08, CRPF-16, SSB-03, Assam Rifles- 01)
iv) Anesthetist: 29 posts (BSF-08, CRPF-17, SSB-02, ITBP-01, Assam Rifles- 01)
v) Radiologist: 39 posts (BSF-10, CRPF-22, SSB-03, ITBP-03, Assam Rifles- 01)
vi) Pathologist: 30 posts (BSF-09, CRPF-18, SSB-02, Assam Rifles- 01)
vii) Ophthalmologist: 21 posts (BSF-04, CRPF-14, SSB-03, Assam Rifles- 01)
viii) Psychiatry: 04 posts (BSF-01, CRPF-03)
ix) Paediatrics: 03 posts (CRPF-03)
x) Orthopaedics: 04 posts (BSF-01, CRPF-03)

ii) Candidates who may be undergoing the rotating internship shall be eligible to apply and appear for the interview provided that if selected, they shall have satisfactorily completed the compulsory internship before appointment.

Pay Scale: Rs.56,100 – Rs.1,77,500

 

3. DENTAL SURGEON (ASSISTANT COMMANDANT)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Cental Armed Police Force wise vacancies:

i) Assam Rifles: 01 (ST-01)

Educational Qualification: i) Degree (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from a recognized University/Institution.
ii) Should be registered with Dental Council of India.
iii) Candidate should have Minimum 60% marks in aggregate in BDS exams.
iv) Candidate should have cleared all BDS subjects in first attempt.
v) Post Degree work experience will be given preference.
Age Limit: Maximum-35 years as on last date of receipt of application.
Pay Scale: Rs.56,100 – Rs.1,77,500

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 157.5 cms (154.5 cm for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 77 Cms ; Chest (expanded) — 82 Cms; Weight — Proportionate to height and age
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 142 Cms (139 cm for ST candidates)

 

Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Interview and Medical Examination.
