Name of the Quota: Scouts & Guides Quota
1. Group-C: 02 Posts
2. Erstwhile Gr.D: 06 Posts
Required Age: Age limit is 18 to 28 years for Group-C, 18-31 years for Erstwhile Gr.D as on 01-01-2019. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Required Education Qualification: 12th/+2 stage or its equivalent examination or pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board and having ITI certificate for the posts in Technical Categories, 10th standard or ITI or 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT or 10th pass plus ITI & with relevant Scouts & guides qualifications.
Selection Method: Based on written test, Scouting Skill Assessment.
Application Submission Fee: Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST, Ex-Servicemen, PWDs, Women, Minorities, and Economic Backward Classes by Demand Draft/ Pay Order from any Nationalized Bank, or crossed Indian Postal Order from any Post Office (issued on or after the date of this notification) drawn in favour of “Principal Financial Advisor, East Coast Railway, payable at Bhubaneswar”.
