Research Associate/Post-doc: 10 Posts.
Project fellow (Junior/Senior data analyst): 5 Post.
Project assistant: 1 Post.
Pay Scale:
1) Rs. 36000-40000 (at research associate level).
2) Rs. 25000/28000 (at the scale of JRF/SRF).
3) Rs. 15000/16000.
Post Type: Regular Basis.
Eligibility:
1) Masters/PhD (or suitable qualification) in discipline related to areas of either: (a) Molecular biology, genetic engineering, tissue culture, plant genomics, plant defense, molecular pathology, Botany or Agriculture and/or equivalent. (b) Analytical Chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology (c) For computational position, MS or BS in computer science, computer application, Bioinformatics or related disciplines or proven experience in NGS data analysis, tool development and DBMS.
Desirable qualification: Candidates with research experience in the area of molecular cloning, gene and protein expression studies, operation of analytical instruments such as HPLC, FPLC or other related instruments, metabolite profiling or related discipline will be preferred. Experience on wheat and/or signaling will be an added advantage and preferred.
