Required Age: For VAO Posts age should be 21 to 30 Years & for all other posts 18 to 35 Years for SC, SC (Arunthathiyar), ST and Destitute Widows of all castes; 18 to 32 Years for Most Backward Classes (MBC) / Denotified Communities, Backward Classes (BC) and Backward Classes (Muslims); 18 to 35 Years for the persons who are trained in Survey in ITI in Tamil Nadu, in respect of posts of Field Surveyor and Draftsman only; Minimum 18 Years Maximum 30 Years for all others. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Required Education Qualification: S.S.L.C Public Examination / Matriculation or equivalent qualification with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies.
For Typist Posts Passed Government Technical Examination in Typewriting:- (i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or) (ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or) (iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil. (AND) Candidates should have passed the “Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation” awarded by the Technical Education Department.
For Steno Typist Posts Passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand:- (i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or) (ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior Grade in English (or) (iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil. (AND) Candidates should have passed the “Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation” awarded by the Technical Education Department.
Selection Method: Written Examination (Objective Type) (OMR Method) Only. The selection purely based on the marks obtained by the candidates in TNPSC Group 4 2018 Written Exam, the tentative list of eligible candidates for certificate verification will be announced in the Commission’s website. After verification of the original certificates, the eligible candidates will be summoned for counselling to allot the post and Unit / Department in the order of rank and category to which they are eligible as per the vacancy position. Date of Examination – 20th January 2018 FN & AN and 21st January 2018 FN.
Application Submission Fee: 150/- as Registration fee. The fee valid for 5 years from the date of Registration. All the applications should be submitted using the One Time Registration ID and password registered by the applicant.
